Since my early childhood I have been surrounded by animals. In 1993 I started to breed British Shorthair cats. At around the same time I started to paint my cats.....and never looked back. I paint animals in pastels and would be happy to discuss any type of commission. I can paint a picture from your own good quality photographs which can be emailed or posted to me. Prices range from £100 for a 10" x 12" mounted picture (p & p extra at cost). dutch for black and white

As you can see from my Photography Gallery I also enjoy taking pictures of animals. If you would like me to photograph your pet please phone to discuss alternatively you could send me your own photograph and I will put onto canvas for you.

	PRICES These prices are for standard sizes, if you require a size that is not listed please contact me, other sizes can be quoted for. Your portraits will be supplied with a mount but will not be framed. The sizes are for the mounted size which will fit into standard size frames. Please contact me if you have any concerns or questions.

	Group portraits (more than 3 subjects) can be quoted for. Please contact me if you would like details and prices for a group portrait. Postage and packaging will be charged at £7.50 per item which will be sent using 'Registered Post' within the UK. For orders outside the UK please email me for poastrage costs before placing your order..

Commissioning:

E-mail: To order by e mail please tell me the size of the painting you want, number of subjects, background required (if applicable), when you require the painting, and any other relevant information and attach 2 or 3 photos of your pet. Please make sure your photos are good quality jpeg images. Click here for tips on taking good photos. Please include your address and a contact telephone number.

Mail: To order by post, please include your photographs, all relevant details and a contact phone number so that I can acknowledge receipt and confirm price and delivery time.

I undertake to carry out your commission promptly, usually 6 to 8 weeks, except at Christmas time when I will need your order 10 to 12 weeks in advance.
on receipt of payment, your painting will be posted to you.

Gift vouchers:

Illustrated gift vouchers are available and make ideal gifts. Please e-mail me with your requirements and I will post this to you; or direct to the recipient with your message. Please remember to send me the relevant postage address and your message if required.

Payment:
f you live in the UK you may pay by personal cheque which will be cleared before posting your finished portrait. All cheques to be made out to S. M. Tiedeman. I cannot accept cheques from outside the UK, please pay using PAYPAL. I ask for a 50% non returnable deposit of before accepting your portrait order.
